Campaign against the Ipswich Northern Bypass
Suffolk County Council, in collaboration with the Suffolk District Councils, have launched a consultation for an Ipswich Northern Bypass which if built will devastate the natural beauty of our county. We must all work together in a cohesive manner to stop the construction of this route.

Dr Dan Poulter, MP
Our campaign is endorsed by Dr Dan Poulter, MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich. Dan is passionate about the impact these proposals will have on our countryside and our local communities. He believes a new road is a trojan horse for a new town north of Ipswich. There is little or no evidence that the project would reduce traffic congestion in Ipswich and the likely cost being in the region of £1 billion could be better spent on more effective infrastructure projects and local public services including Ipswich Hospital.
